CURRENT AND RECENT PROJECTS

War against the War: a memoir about my time in the Army National Guard. I joined at 17, before the September 11th attacks. Four years later,

instead of fighting in the so-called War on Terror, I was fighting to be recognized as a conscientious objector and to be discharged from the

military. Adapted chapters have been published in CALYX, Grain, River Teeth and Umbrella Factory. The full manuscript is out to a few agents

and small presses.

Live at the Scene: a novel which focuses on a television reporter who is yanked from the fluff beat to a disturbing kidnapping case in

California’s Central Valley, forcing her to grapple with the media’s complex role in crime. I am currently revising the full manuscript.

We All Go Up the Mountain Alone Together: my band’s latest album, released May 23rd, 2015.

Love Letters: my second solo album, released November 15th, 2015.
